As a professional with over 15 years of experience in firefighting and significant contributions as an Assistant Fire Chief of Operations, Training and Fire Marshal, I believe I am well positioned to help the IAFC and our Fire Industry grow.
During my career, I have applied my proven expertise and ongoing professional development to meeting and exceeding all objectives put before me. The following examples from my work history and accomplishments that represent the absolute value I can deliver in this new role:
As an Operations Chief, Fire Prevention Chief Officer, and Training Chief, I effectively train and lead teams in the practices of quick, life-saving response and provide tools for material evaluation, resource use, and sound decision making all with the highest safety values in mind.
Offering advanced specializations including that as an Arson Investigator and previous member of the TEEX Texas Task Force-1 Swift Water Team, I am equipped with advanced skills and am committed to consistently growing and participating in training and leadership opportunities.
As a Rescue Technician in areas including Trench, Rope, and Confined Space, I not only perform expertly in the field, I but I am also entrusted to guide others with effective practices, teaching courses in Vehicle Extrication, Confined Space, and Heavy Machinery.
